sustainable modern loft in Texas

This home of Dixie Chick Emily Robison was originally featured in 2009 in Metropolitan Home, but I recently came across it again and still admire it for what I call sustainable modern design. Sustainable because she chose to renovate an old factory building instead of building new. And refurbished the original factory sash windows, concrete ceilings and terrazzo tiled floors. And mixed vintage furnishings with the new modern pieces. Modern because of the exquisite mix of sleek lacquered kitchen cabinets with organic horizontal oak wall panels. And cool industrial lighting. And the white walls with bold graphic patterned rugs and textiles throughout.

She rocks more than just the stage.
